David R. Sollaccio, MD
Orthopaedic Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeon
Originally from Orlando, Florida, I grew up with a love for helping others and a curiosity about how things work, traits that eventually led me to specialize in the intricate field of hand and upper extremity surgery. I earned my undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University, followed by medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
I honed my orthopaedic skills during my residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where I also participated in care for the Florida Gators athletics teams. I then completed my training with a fellowship in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.
After eight years in practice in Los Angeles, I am excited to call Houston home and build a practice that reflects my commitment to personalized care. I believe every patient is unique and ought to be informed on all options, so that we can tailor treatments, whether that is repairing a ligament, managing arthritis, or treating a fractured bone, to fit your specific needs and goals. My favorite part of the work? Seeing you get back to what you love, whether that’s playing an instrument, swinging a golf club, or simply holding a loved one’s hand without pain.
When I’m not in the operating room or clinic, you’ll find me exploring local trails, fishing along the coast, or hitting the golf course. I’m an avid traveler, hiker, guitar player, and snowboarder who cherishes time with family. I’m thrilled to serve the community with the same care and dedication I bring to everything I do. I look forward to meeting you and helping you regain the function in your hand, wrist, elbow, or shoulder so that you can get back to living life on your terms!
